It’s hard to send pottery safely, so you may be taken aback by the size of parcel you receive. The idea is to pack your pot so that no sides touch the box, and all empty space inside the box is filled up. Please be assured that all my packaging is sourced to be sustainable and bio-degradable.

Your pots are designed to be dishwasher safe and can also be used in the microwave. As with almost all fired clay, you should however avoid rapid changes in temperature. For example, if you want to use something in the oven, let the dish pre-heat with the oven rather than putting it in at full temperature.

All my pots are fired to a minimum of cone 6 (around 1200 degrees centigrade) and the glazes are designed to be food-safe. There are a few items, which are clearly marked, which are not intended for food or kitchen use.

All individual items for sale are photographed individually, and you will receive the item on the photo. When there are multiples available, you will receive one of a set of very similar, but not identical, pots. The beauty of something being handmade is that nothing is quite the same, though obviously sets are thrown to be used collectively.
